*Talk to children about the Fun Run which is on this Friday. Check out how our class are doing on stmfunrun.com
*There is a field trip to the library tomorrow and it's 'Talk like a Pirate' Day in the school. Children are required to wear their uniforms tomorrow. They can leave their pirate accessories in the classroom while we go to the library.
Superkids:
There will be a spelling test on Wednesday the 27th.
-Tonight's Spellings- Using the 'Say, Cover, Write, Check' method, for Monday's spellings: 'do', 'have', and 'show'

-Worksheet 3-3

*Children's library cards are in their homework folders. Books can be returned within three weeks to any SF public library, or you can renew books online.

-Tonight's Spellings- Using the 'Say, Cover, Write, Check' method, for Tuesday's spellings: 'how', 'me', 'a'.
-Children have a strip of paper from their Superkids workbook that has 'ng' and 'le' pattern words on ne side and memory words on the other side. Ask children to read the memory words aloud to you.
*Please display this strip somewhere they will see it often (e.g. the fridge)

Chaperone needed for field trip on Tuesday, Sept. 19th
Hi all,
We are looking for a chaperone volunteer for the field trip to the library next Tuesday, the 19th. It would be ideal if this person has the Shield the Vulnerable program completed.

"What time is it?"
